Tales of Napoleon the cat

The stories with the cat Napoleon as the protagonist are inspired by my childhood and my experiences of the occupation. Mr. Nikos, the miller, was my father, the embodiment of kindness and gentleness. And the cat, Napoleon, was his daily companion.

And I, Mairula, who saw them often, since I was taking my father to dinner in the forest of Holomontas. The rest is fiction that springs from the emotionally charged memories of a young child.

The illustrations of the book are original and impressive, with pictures made with leaves and flower petals by the famous and great artist Maria Lipinsky-Zafrana.
